Beyond caring for our patients using the principles of evidence-based medicine, the physicians and staff of OGA are also striving for a greater good all around them. We are active and engaged in professional endeavors that are helping advance the quality and availability of care in Idaho, the Northwest and beyond. We also put heart into action here in our own backyards and, from time to time, around the world through our medical mission and outreach work. Why? Because we believe that by supporting women where they are physically and in their life’s health journey, we are actively giving back and investing in a better future for all of us.
At OGA, our providers are committed to providing the best in women’s health care. We believe that women deserve the best care regardless of where they live, which is why our providers participate in medical mission trips. Dr. Schroeder and Dr. Armstrong travel annually to Ghana to support a local non-profit, Ghana Make a Difference, by bringing their expertise to women in need. While in Ghana, they perform life-changing operations to give women the opportunity to live their fullest lives.
