The Center for Women’s Sexual Medicine (CWSM) clinic was created to fill the need of women suffering, often silently, with sexual health dysfunction and pain which can cause great frustration and hopelessness. The CWSM clinic provides a comprehensive evaluation of sexual medicine concerns with a focus on extensive assessment and treatment to alleviate and or decrease distressing symptoms through a team of trained professionals in the area of sexual dysfunction.
Our comprehensive and compassionate care includes confidential evalation and assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation by a
multidisciplinary team.
Kyla Shaver, one of our dedicated Nurse Practitioners at OGA, brings over a decade of focused experience in women’s health. She has received specialized training from the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) and has trained under Annie Fife, MSN, WHNP, IF, the founder of our Pelvic Wellness Specialty Clinic. Kyla’s passion for her patients’ well-being led her to pursue additional expertise in sexual medicine, with the goal of offering effective treatments to women who have long suffered in silence.
Kyla was born in Pasco, Washington, and grew up in Paradise, California. She completed her bachelor’s in nursing at Loma Linda University and worked in labor and delivery for many years as a nurse before earning her Master’s at Frontier Nursing University and joining OGA as a nurse practitioner. Kyla loves women’s health, particularly preventive medicine, and offers a multidisciplinary approach for PCOS and sexual medicine. She values making her patients feel comfortable and provides shared decision-making when formulating a plan of care. Her days off are spent with her husband and twins, engaging in activities such as baking together, crafting, camping, or playing outside.
Amy Elisa Hedrick has been specializing in sex therapy since 2010. She is a highly trained professional dedicated to providing solution-focused and uniquely tailored therapeutic approaches to assist individuals and couples in enhancing emotional and physical intimacy, empowering individual sexual satisfaction, and minimizing the impact of sexual dysfunction.
Sarah Graham is a highly trained and seasoned women’s health and pelvic floor therapist that began her own clinic, Restore Physical Therapy, after years of experience.
